Children in church

Children are of course very welcome in church, there are bags of toys available for them, please ask the sidesman if you have not been offered one.

This is Felix the tortoise, come and find him in one of our stained glass windows.  Felix is over 100 years old and has lived in Kelvedon for most of his life.

Kelvedon Church of England St Mary's Primary School

The church has strong links with Kelvedon St Mary's Primary School which is a church school.  The children come to the church regularly for services such as at the end of term, Easter, harvest festival, carols by candlelight at Christmas etc.  As children join the school at the EYFS they come to church on a special visit to be shown round and Fr David explains about what happens in church.

Three members of our congregation are school governors and Fr David is an ex officio school governor.
