TRIO PRESENTATION 20 APRIL

Thank you to all those who attended the presentation.

The TRIO ( The Responsibility Is Ours ) planned giving programme was launched on 20th April when Annie Coley, Parish Development Officer in the Colchester Area Team, came to give a presentation on Church finances in the 10.30 service. It was explained precisely what it costs us to maintain the mission and ministry of the Church in our parish. These costs are increasingly borne by church members. We are now at the stage where we are NOT able to cover all our outgoings and are relying on our slender parish reserves, a situation which cannot continue indefinitely.

Environmental Matters

We have reformed our church Eco Congregation Team to run alongside Kelvedon St Mary's Eco Team who are working to become an Eco School.  Please see our environmental advice here
The church Eco Congregation team are made up of teachers and governors from Kelvedon St Mary's Primary School who are also church members.  We plan to become an Eco Congregation by Easter 2009.
